The publishers of this website believe the apostasy spoken of in 2 Timothy 4:2-4 is upon us
in force.
This present apostasy is definitely a pre-lude to the greater one spoken of in 2 Thessalonians
2:3,10-11.
There is no doubt the present apostasy will get worse, but that the delusion has already
begun, is beyond dispute.
We see a sleeping church that displays very little discernment--or desire for discernment.
We see a church that cannot seem to tell the difference between contention and contending.
We see a lazy church that wants someone else to study the Word of God for them, then strain
it down and spoon feed them in easy to swallow, tasty portions.
We see a materialistic ambitious church that loves the world and the things in it.
We see a church that is poor and naked...
And doesn't know it
That statement probably enrages some who feel more spiritual than ever, so disagree with
what we see as the general condition of the church in these last days.
Just as there is a vast difference between contending and contention, there is also a vast difference
between having hungry hearts and having itching ears--although many cannot tell the difference--their discernment has become
distorted through too much exposure to the counterfeit.
This section is dedicated to opening the eyes of those who are truly hungry for the truth and who
want to know if their trust in spiritual leadership, pastors, favorite teachers, authors, etc., is justified or
has been misplaced.
The information in this section may not be easily digested, it may not taste good at first, but
read it prayerfully and judge it by the scriptures.**
**See Acts 17:11 there is no such thing as extra-scriptural
illumination (revelation from God that cannot be backed up by scripture). If anyone
is saying that, stop listening to them immediately.
